Good for us ....

Yes, I am also one of those who is not feeling bad at all about the loss of our team @ World Cup ...

And for me its not about more work hours ... nor money retained .... but about attitude ... attitude of people.. the sportiveness in people ...

Now they get a chance to think about what sport is all about ... the same people who have garlanded the team are burning their effigies ... !!!
And I would say its not the problem with the Team .. they have performed what they can .... but its the people who have assumed high things for a team not soo competent .. and created problems for themselves ....

Can you imagine our crowd appreciating the opponent team for a boundary or six ?? !!! or at least for a century !!... not possible ... but if you see the crowd at England .. I have seen them appreciate the century of Indian team also !! .. and felt good about it .... that's sportsmanship ... lets appreciate Bangladesh for their good play .. and empathize with Indian team for not being able to perform ...

Appendix:
Sportsmanship is an attitude that strives for fair play, courtesy toward teammates and opponents, ethical behavior and integrity, and grace in losing.
Empathy is defined as one's ability to recognize, and feel the emotion of another.

What you said abt Indian team and fans is correct... Yes spectators need to have understood the fact that ours is a junk team and kept quiet...

But I disagree with your comments abt in England they did so and so... let us do so and so. No one here said Bangladesh played badly or they were a stupid team... they just said Indian's did not play upto the mark... Everyone knows who is more biased... the British or the Indians.

Dont say the the team doesnt have problems. Public assuming a world class team to make it into super 8's is also a high expectation? Its the only sport baring hockey where Indians have and international presence. Because of the million crowd, they are the highest paid cricketers. I dont say we shdnt lose. But BIG teams should be professional and have enough preparation to beat minnows like bangladesh comfortably. A lot of training goes in to be professional and aussies have shown that. Indian cricketers dont have time for that because they are busy with endorsements and ramp walking.

COMMENT BY A FRUSTRATED FAN

People are sportive enough .... Indians have already booked to tickets for super8 matches. Although India didnt make it, they came all the way (partly because they bought tickets) and supported bangladesh. Ind vs Pak expected super8 was played by bangladesh and Ireland ... and i have seen Indian supporters cheering bangladesh.

And burning of effiges is a sublime way of showing their frustration .... people should have shot all of them :P

Never in Indian cricket history did a player die of heart attack because of Indian dismal performance ... but we see it happening many fans
